Haha, that's OK I appreciate the help. So update, I went up to my local Costal today who sells quadrafire stoves and the guy was able to test my board for me. I was telling him how it would not stop feeding and he said "oh its probably just on start up and that should go away". After he put the board in his stove he was surprised to see that the auger would not stop feeding and even after he pulled the feed signal it kept feeding. He told me wow that is really dangerous and that he had never seen it before, but he said yea your board is toast for sure. So I sucked it up and paid the $294 there for the new board and took it home. I cleaned this stove top to bottom inside and out before putting the new board in. This new board also came with a new ground wire for the thermocoupler so I put that on as well. With the stove unplugged I installed the new board and bent the tabs back to hold it in. One note on this new board is that where the tab on my stove bends back to hold it in the board has a metal piece that kind of interferes with the tab holding it in. This isn't a major problem, but it doesn't seem to hold the board as tight the old one was held in. After adjusting the feed rate a few cycles this new board works great and brought my old broken stove back to life again. Not sure if its the new board or what, but this stove seems to run better than it ever did before. I finally got my flame height about perfect and it seems to fire right up without any misfires. Glad to have this thing working again and a thanks to everyone for helping me with this issue, I will from now on only clean this stove when it is unplugged a costly lesson learned, but it was worth it because this thing heats way better than my electric furnace.

THAT'S GREAT!!!! The price seems reasonable comparing it to the internet, too! That sounds like a dealer you want to support and promote! He went the extra mile and you rewarded him. Glad you have the heat back on! Did you keep the old controller? If not, go get it and maybe you can fix it or sell it to one of us.

thanks, yea kept the old controller for sure, I'm sure its fixable to the right person, but its beyond me to repair the old one. The dealer was pretty helpful and after I looked at what new stoves cost in the showroom I am very glad to have mine working again.
