OK, I have to blow the whistle on that play; Not a scrounge if it's on your property. Penalty is five face cords Beech, split, delivered and stacked. ;)

Nice work there. You stay pretty busy up there. I may be heading up to the Adirondacks next weekend, hopefully the weather wont be too bad.

A scrounge on your own property is grabbing wood that Mother Nature or that Beaver put on the ground, my definition.==c That's a steep penalty!

If I may ask where in the Dacks might you be heading?

Not much down so far this year so I'll start on the Beech then the big Maple down up on the ridge. We have lots of Hemlock down (shoulder season wood) it's not big enough to mill so we'll add it to the S/S stacks.

Are you still busy?

Not as buzy as I need to be. Taxs seem like there hitting a little slower this year.

Nice, I think we have 5 or 6 young ones this year.

Strange year for us. I've never seen as many button bucks as we are seeing this winter. Most years the stupid hunters will shoot them. They seem proud of their button bucks then complain because the butcher stole most of the meat.... I've always thought it strange that many will never shoot a fawn, but they will shoot a button buck. What in tarnation?! A button buck is still this year's fawn, but they insist. I think it makes them feel good that they at least got a buck..... Not on my place, thank you.

Same up this way, you still have some hunters that won't take a small legal buck. It looks like the New England states are in for the worst of this storm.

Ya, it looks like the two storms will merge. Looks like up to a foot for us but I don't believe them yet.

8-14 inches here so it's not that bad, I think in our area the storm picks up Friday afternoon, 1 to 2 inches per hour.

Here it is 6:00 and still not even a flurry.

Things start here at 10 tonight, plows are hooked up with enough wood inside to get us through this. It's suppose to be light snow so the wind will be what makes this a pain in the arse.

I just noticed it will be ice changing over to snow, might be some schools shut down tomorrow.

8"-12" here. Winds will begin, they say blizzard like, we'll see. "A wood stove is warmer when its snowing out" -WS
