06 Pellet Stove 240lb Hopper

Selling an 06 Pellet stove with a 240 lb hopper ( 6 - 40lb bags ).

Needs to be serviced. Does not get good air flow.

These large pellet stoves can cost $2000 or more.

This one is older and needs work.

Taking best offer.I saw this ad I wonder what this is worth? Sounds like it is VERY dirty.

If it will start up & run, offer him $350. If not, $250. Gotta be worth that, and probably just a good cleaning away from a good unit.

He claims it was working fine until one morning he woke up and burn pot was overflowing with pellets and not enough air to blow ash out of pot. he said he just bought his house and it was in the garage and worked fine. Also missing a back panel. Might just have to check it out.

Classic dirty stove syndrome. But if you empty the burn pot, and fire it up, that should give you at least an idea if it really will run. If the comb. blower starts up and auger runs, I'm sure you could get it cleaned-up and it will go. Amazing what compressed air &/or a leaf blower will do while the stove is sitting in the driveway.

As always, you'll have the services of the fine Englander Tech service to help you out. If you provide them w/ the serial #, they can tell you about any history of the stove.

Don't sweat the back panel. I leave mine off all the time.

well going to check this thing out this week, would have got there sooner but I was actually working on my daughters stove. it is the exact same thing but a couple years newer, replaced her combustion blower in hers and did some cleaning on it. didn't find much crud so that is why I replaced the blower and wow did it make a difference in her burn. she finally could run it on 9/9 with no problems. so I have some idea as to what it should burn like and the simplicity of changing parts on it. it just might be overkill for my place I only have about 1100 sf to heat.

That Englander is one of my favorites in watching the burn. It has a smaller deeper pot than my CPM had and the flame looks 300% better. Along with higher convection temps and also a HUGE HOPPER!!

I would so be all over that for $350. I think pretty soon I am going to be running a dealership out of my garage! I need to quit looking at stoves!!! They are just so dam pretty!

I have the same problem as you. I keep looking at these stoves for sale for cheap money and I think I could buy it go through the stove cleaning and such test them then could sell them. I think that I may have a serious illness. Time to see a doctor about this.
