This is a pic of my backyard. Moved into the house July of 2010 and the yard was a bit of a mess. Did not spend any time fixing it up. Sandy comes along and me and my buddy (tbuff) proceed to get a fair amount of wood and my small yard turns into a processing area. I was outside this past weekend trying to get it stacked and cleaned up and took this pick. What you see is my half of what we have. All split with the orange handle you see there!

Looks like a good amount of wood.
Sounds like you guys need to go halves on a splitter and get all that stuff all done in a day;)

Nice load of wood, and nice way to share it with a helper. Me and my best friend (been friends since grade school) do tree removal work together, and share the rewards from that work. Keeps both of us stocked on wood and sharing the work makes it a lot easier....

As for splitting I bought a hydraulic splitter with some of my tax return several years ago and what a great investment that was. Bought it on a heck of a deal from Craigslist, and it has paid for itself several times over.....I still split by hand quite a bit for the excersize, but love having that splitter for getting the job done in a hurry. Two guys running a splitter and taking turns setting up the wood/loading the wood in the trailer makes for an efficient job....

Gripptide is the splitter!!!!

Those were some fun scrounging days.... We learned one very important lesson, if you ask the guy with the bobcat to load you up with 35" diameter 5' long rounds.... Make sure you have a way to get them off when you get home.. <>

Lots of "Primo" wood there.
Good team effort.
Now lets see how much stacking & spitting you got done since the picture.
We'll eventually need a measurement on "How much" is there ? 10 cord?

Very nice looking yard ;)

I see a lot of locust there. Its horrible burning stuff. I'm also in NJ. I can take it off your hands.

I think that can be arranged.... I get a lot of tuna myself, commercial fisherman in the family, I went in the other direction years ago... Love my sailing though, Drop a line when in the park, might have a pork sandwich on the grill!;)

Anyone want to trade pig or tuna for venison? <> Didn't think so.
