Well I finally got to stack a little bit this weekend. Had to stop since
I ran out of pallets. I did some figuring and it comes out to roughly 2 and a half cord. Pretty decent start.

Nice work!
Looks like you have a good, breezy stacking spot there.
Is there some kind of fuzz on that wood? ;)

Pretty decent start indeed Wilhelm! Nice work!

Looking good, Will! You are well on your way to being a full blown junkie!! It won't hurt you to go two rows wide on those pallets, you'll get twice as much wood in the same amount of space, and it will still dry out nicely. Not to mention it will make your stacks sturdier when the winds howl....

2 rows to a pallet is what I do, works out well. Make those stacks a little higher and you'll have a privacy fence :)

I like using trees to hold up the ends of stacks. You've done that with two of the trees; it looks like you could have done this using more of the trees.

I contemplated making two rows on the pallets, but opted for one. Oh well, next row!

Warmguy - I do plan on using more of the trees. I haven't used that long tree row because I believe that is the property line, and I haven't met that neighbor yet. Don't want to step on any toes, not until I introduce myself first anyway! Haha.

It works great until you get some high winds... <>

Me too , although I'm considering other options

gee sent pic ?

I also do two rows on a pallet. My wood is usually 18-22 inches. So there is a good gap between the piles. Nice work there Wilhelm911!
