I just cleaned my flue yesterday for the 1st time this season. Got about a half quart of dark brown fluffy stuff..

That's got to be from a lot of hard burning of either pretty wet wood or burning a sappy wood like pine. That's really really asking for it.

Pine is fine. Been burning it the last few nights, since its been warmer. Season it as all wood needs, and "Sap" isn't an issue at all...

I burn whatever I find. Some pressed wood blocks. I hate them but do not want to sell them so I burn them. The bride seems to neck the air down all the way so it burns slow.
