Best $1500 splitter

EDIT: just looked it up $5900.
Interesting thing about that one is it's a horizontal only with the wedge on the ram rather than the beam. I'd think most would prefer the wedge on beam design with an outfeed table.

Cycle time on my splitter is about 2 seconds and it only cost 40 bucks...my X27....but I get a lot more tired than yall do....I am jealous of the splitters yall have....someday maybe.

I was looking to met his specification rather than price.
I did wonder why they did it that way, to keep the wood to hand for re splitting? Easier to roll rather than pull back.
That's the way I've always done it, too. Much more enjoyable to be out there in the quiet, getting some excercise, than listening to the drone of a splitter. However, I split and stacked close to 14 cords last year, out of a lot of seriously large rounds... it's just more than I can do by hand.
As always, price is the most important specification!
The only logic I can come up with is the lack of work table. They probably designed the lift to double as a work table, so they can get away with the wedge on ram. I would still want an out feed table.
When you start talking about $6K splitters, I want an outfeed table, and a hydraulic adjustable 4/6 way wedge in additon to monster power/speed. Call me picky.
