Sounds and looks good Sue but I believe that stuff is super toxic and not something you'd want to play around with much. No doubt it is not very cheap either.
 
Yeah, Dennis, I was pondering about that today when I was digging mud off of my boots, thinking it was probably too good to be true, or it would be more readily available. But wouldn't it be great if it were a safe product? Of course even silicone is kind of dodgy, but I have to admit I have used it on my shoes...
 
Much like good automotive paint, it's toxic to breathe airborne vapor while it's being applied but once it's dried, it's as harmless as... well... paint.
