Love these things! Try them if you get the chance. Been burning them for a week. Qualify for #3 on my list of top fives. Will make sure a ton of em is in the garage for next season for sure!

I tried a few bags. I got them from East Coast Lumber in Hampstead NH a week ago. They were good, but then I tried Cubex from N.E. Coal in Pelham NH. Those are even better. :)

Cost?

Hi Mike. I don't think you'd be buying where I do and prices
from your CT pellet houses are often more reasonable than here,
but they are presently $274 at south shore wood pellet in holbrook ma.

Not so sure, I've seen regular Okies for $299 or $300+/ton all season around here. And if the Black Hills are supposed to be a better quality they would be priced at that price or higher here. $274 sounds very reasonable.

Okies $300.00 Black Hills $279.00

I don't know if they are supposed to better than Okies which he sells for $299, but I like and buy both brands.
Okies burn a little hotter in my pellet eater but both are very nice. Some people dislike both so it's def a good idea to try a couple bags before jumping into a ton.

East Coast is $6.35/ bag. I also tried them.....twice. They were OK in my stove but no great shakes. At $300/T I can find pellets I like better. My stove liked the Cubex in the "Northern" bags and the Vermonts best.

I had a bag of the Black Hills Okies, hottest :ZZZ and cleanest burning pellet in my stove and they smell good;). I can't find them here in NY;sick
