Central CT
Long story short.

Anyone know anywhere in central CT that has pellets?

Does anyone here want to sell some of your stash?

Thanks......Steve

CT Pellet. BT Enterprises? Heard of both on here and they carry pellets all the time.
Not sure if they are central CT but a quick google should help you.

P.S. good luck with finding someone to give up some of their stash. ==c

Yeah some of these guys would give up their 1st born before their stash;)
But the choice is give up your beer or give up your pellets? Which would you choose?

bt tends to only sell full tons this time of year.
tractor supply in Farmington had some as of last week.

tractor supply in MA has had some deliveries recently, so possibly other stores have had a stock as mentioned in previous post

I found some! I picked up 10 bags of Energex. That will hold me for a while.
That ain't enough you better go and get 10 more tomorrow heating season is far from over:(

two words... Equine bedding

I have one bag left. Probably head to TSC to pick up about 10 more bags. They are the only local bigbox that has them now. The total looks like about 2 tons for the entire season to heat my garage.

I am sure some of the Pellet Pigs would be happy to share.... NOT.

Seriously, you will find some in the small mom and pop stores but they will be more expensive. Be prepared to pay. Happened to me the first season too. Had to buy really crappy and expensive pellets - Infernos.

Try doing a search on Craigslist.

Good luck.

For me, it doesn't matter what I put in the ol' BigE, it burns them and it makes heat, even if it's a bit less than some of the better pellets, since it's only my garage and at 62 degrees. Burned Cheat River this entire season, no issues. A little more ash than my Presto-Logs from last season but no big deal since I don't have an ash pan and I let the thing fill up til it's almost coming out the door. I only buy one ton in the beginning of the season and then purchase individually as needed when I start to run out near the end of the season.

Procrastination at its best...;)
haha asbsolutely! i don't want to store them in my garage taking up valuable space. I do have plenty of shed space, a two car garage 2 houses up that is my father in-laws and a full basement where I could store them.... but I ask myself, "self, why?" bad enough I have to touch each bag twice.

This is was my "stash", if you even want to call it that, at the beginning of the season.

Need to start a new policy of grabbing a few bags every couple of weeks for next year so the level of your "stash" doesn't fade away to nothing before the end of the season. Good luck on the hunt:)

That's the thing... I want it to fade :) I don't want to have any left over, and if I do, I want it to be about 10 bags or so.

Went to the local TSC and they were out of pellets even though they had some when I called a few days ago. Looks like I'm heading to the local stove shop for 10-15 bags of GAP's at premium pricing Saturday morning.
