Interested in These Chainsaw Boots: Opinions?

These Oregon boots meet Class 3 chainsaw protection standards and they seem to be priced o.k. Does anyone use them?:

They look an awful lot like my husqvarna boots, which are a little less money.

I've had mine for 3 years. Use them for whenever I cut and for snowblowing. They have held up extremely well and when hosed down still look like new.

I havent tried those ones specifically, but my current pair is very similar except that the top section is rubber instead of what looks like nylon. Mine are OK, but I find them tight on the calf and hard to get off. Mine are over 10 years old now and torn and weather cracked in places. They leak. So its time for a new pair.

This time around, I'm going for lace up style, both for easy of putting on and more ankle support.

Just looked at the lace up boots at baileys, the Made in Canada Viking boots look exactly like the Oregon versions for less than half the price. Id love to find those vikings here in person to try on (I have large feet), they could very well be my nest pair if they are comfortable.

I don't think the Husq. boots are cut resistant. I don't see any class rating listed.

Mine say class 3 chainsaw right on the side of them. Along with a bunch of other standards printed on the inside.

Theyre rated. Stamped on the rubber.

Notice the added bulk on the front between the foot and the knee? Thats extra protection against cuts.

Do you find they are tough to walk around in? I had a pair of steel toe "gum rubbers" that tore the hell out of my calf and shin. Things felt like they were 25-30lbs each too.

I find them very comfortable. Been using them as my mud boots this year as well. Easy to slip on - I never tie the back laces. They do run on the large size though. If you are not getting the felt liners probably should drop down 1/2 a size.

A nice bonus is they have a little 'bump out' right above the Husqvarna logo that your chaps kind of hook onto. Keeps the chips out of your boots and gives full protection to your legs and feet.
