Don't think I've cut the grass before middle of June here. Pretty much about 3.5-4 months of lawn cutting, mid June-early October.

Last year my grass had been cut at least once by now.

My lawnmower runs more months out of the year than my wood stove.
 
My stove is usually going for ~6 months out of the year. I could probably run it nearly year round but I rely on the boiler after it's in the 40s regularly.

Every year I will be mowing and have to stop long enough to load the stove. Gotta love that there shoulder season:mad:
