We can't help you unless you provide some useful info about the stove.

How old is it, what pellets are you burning, last time the stove was taken apart & fully cleaned, has it produced more heat in the past, etc, etc, etc.

Also, where is the 300? And what tool is this measurement coming from?

300* air temp is AWESOME!! 300* on an exterior panel (not firebox) is awesome also. But 300* measured on the door of the stove or glass, then that's bad.

It's 300 on front panel by door with temp gauge is to use on wood stove house not toasty like wood stove I was made in 6/11 premium pellets we use burn lot pellets don't seem to be burning great they burn but not ashy gray tried mode c but the 3 levels stayed the same as if it was on mode d any ideas it could be cleaner it's not bad got to go thru if more when it's warm

When I called customer service they said try c but the botto. 3 buttons are the same as d I does need a better cleaning I got this used they used it a 1 1/2 but we cleaned it but not as good as it should have been
My brother in law runs at 650 harman and some posts it sounds like with the englander it should run very hot as well

Used stoves are invariably sold due to the original owner not knowing how to maintain them....they don't get cleaned or maintained properly, and the owner gives up on the "lousy, no good piece of crap stove", etc, etc.

That stove needs to be completely taken apart and thoroughly cleaned.....both blowers removed, impingment plate removed, burn pot, etc, etc, etc. A mallet banging on the back steel wall will help dislodge a lot of hidden crud.

Also, what is your exhaust system setup? How many bends, lengths, etc? What do you have the bottom 3 buttons set at?

Very short may 3 ft tall and one bend not bad at all 6 4 1 and d mode right now needs hotter burn though I think to keep it warmer yeah once season is down going to tear it down great shape so that back plate by burn pot needs to be banged and then removed and vacuumed ?

Remove the impingment plate first, then proceed w/ the banging. Get a piece of rubber hose that can be taped to your vacuum and used to snake in around the interior of the stove.

Plan on ordering some replacement combustion blower gaskets to keep on hand....you'll need at least one for the spring "end-of-winter" cleaning anyway. Stove should be brought outdoors and also be blown out w/ compressed air after it's all taken apart. Check door gasket with dollar bill method for proper sealing.

Also, try raising the LBA to 5

I'd also add, for what its worth, making sure that if its not on a thermostat to make sure the jumper is still in place.

You never said what heat setting your on?

If you want heat? You need to turn up the heat level. Run that beast on 9-9 and let it burn for 30 minutes then take your reading.

BTU's are made by burning pellets. The more you burn, the more BTU's you create.

Running that stove on 2-2 aint gonna cut it.

Ok I use clean fire pellets are they good seems not pushing mush heat alot ash and glass gets dirty I was told by seller they are the best?
Which ones donunrecommend for the englander ? More heat low ash exp in burn pot area where they don't seem to go thru

There is a large difference between measuring temps on a Harman and an Englander.

Can you post pics or a video on the burn? Firebix? Ash color?

All pellets create ash. Some more than others. If the ash is a grey color (grey, to white, or slightly brown) then the burn is pretty good.

How big is your house (sq footage)? How many stories? And where is the stove located? (Basement)?

If its in a basement and your trying to heat multiple levels, then your probably gonna be unhappy with the results.

It's in basement 2000 sq foot it's a raised ranch I don't have the OAK set up yet ash the the color u said light brown ill get picture but not til 5 est it's a small house probably dirty got i used made I'm 6- 11 insure how to clean it i understand u can t just vacuum but I would need step by step or picture what comes out etc

Did you get a manual? If not one can often be found on-line or someone on the forum may be able to scan the appropriate section on cleaning.

From the manual:
Outside combustion air is mandatory for these units to work properly.

Is the basement finished and insulated, or unfinished?

Installing an OAK will help, but basement installs that are in unfinished basements usually are poor, as far as heating the space. All the concrete/blocks/stone, etc, just suck up all the heat, and it make it seem the stove isn't doing it's job.

Ok so it's probably 20 in am cleaned a little better temp on front not door gets to 400 running 4 and 8 fan blower room I have not put oak in yet I bet it would run better getting to my upstairs I have a small raised ranch, my bedroom is in basement 3/4 finished basement seems really dry ? Because oak is not installed I'm Wondering

............. I'm Wondering

Im wondering what your looking for? If you want more heat? And the stove isn't maxed out (9-9) ? Then turn it up. 9-9 is there for a reason. The stove will only feed so many pellets on Heat level 6. For more heat, you need to burn more pellets.

But comparing the temp of a Harman (firebox walls are also exterior of stove) and an Englander ( firebox walls are NOT the exterior of stove)? Is like comparing Apples to Oranges.

The OAK is mandatory on that unit. So please install it as soon as possible. It will only help with efficiency.

It appears Wendy isn`t making progress and for good reason. If she followed Macman`s suggestions from the beginning , she would be on the right track .
So far as we know the stove is used and has yet to be thoroughly cleaned and we aren`t sure that the venting is within specs or that the stove`s components are functioning as they should. How about air leaks? Since there is no oak ,the whole install is suspect. Then the stove`s basic heat mode setting (C/D) has to be verified and the bottom 3 buttons correctly set .
At this point Wendy needs to start from the beginning knowing for sure the stove is thoroughly clean , the gaskets are not leaking , and the install and settings correct and the components are in fact working correctly.
She might be overwhelmed and this whole pellet stove thing is over her head . I think she should seek out some local professional assistance or someone knowledgeable(friend) to help her get this stuff verified and fixed.
