Took a nice long ride to Norwich today. A bit chilly by the Thames, But definetly felt like spring. Drooling on the new toy also helped cure the fever!

Pellet stove has been off all day, I do not see me needing it again till Tuesday!

This one takes me back to the 80's. Mostly burn wood but got tired of it and went to electric heat yesterday. Might burn the couch before I light the pellet stove or the wood stove again.

But then they are saying the twenties tomorrow night...

Finally able to get outside with insulated shirtjac instead of the winter coat:) Thunder Bay is supposed to get the snow - 3-1/2 hours ride to the East...
A lmost hit 60 degrees yesterday, I will try and send you some warm rays:cool:

next week back in the 40's here in ct....grrrr, got 5 bags of chow and 5 bags of 'set's, and burning those as i'll burn oil first!
Endless summer?, more like endless winter!!, I've remember burning in may, so we still have several more weeks of at least night burning

Hang in there, boys. One more week of this crap in the Northeast then the week of April 8th will be the transition. A milder than normal pattern is likely to set up with temps in the 60's and a couple of 70's not out of the question by mid-month.

My chickens call BS,

The so called low twenties to low thirties for last night turned out to be mid teens and that forecast was revised from the prior days of lows above freezing. Me thinks they have to many groundhogs called Phil in their employ.

Also my arctic air pump monitor is indicating another blast is in the making.

It's been snowing on and off all day today here in Lewis County, NY.......two more days forecast like this until a slight warm up this weekend. I love winter but even I'm tired of it at this point. Can't even get out to trout fish with the creeks, ponds, rivers, etc. still slightly frozen and very high. But at least the sugaring season has been extended by a run or two.
