Hello

Well this turned out to be a wee bit tougher than I thought. You never know the true extent of the shape a wood pellet stove is in until you get it in the shop and take it thru the paces.

This 2007 Engalnder 25-PDVC is a good stove worth fixing. However the paint was faded and there was some rusting from being stored in a damp garage. Nothing wrong with the digital control panel and no snap discs to worry about. Both vacuum switches still worked fine too.

However the top auger motor was dead as a door nail and needed to be replaced. The bottom auger was fine!

Then it was the dirty augers with pokey little auger burrs, black carbon on the bottom auger, and dirty auger chutes.

Just from sitting in a damp garage, the exhaust blower housing was extremely rusted!

After some Satin Black paint and a new room blower, the stove would not even fire up because the ignitor was WAY out of alignment

To top it off a nice graphite impregnated 3/4" rope door gasket and a little dry moly spray in the burn box! Also change the screws on the back panel to Stainless Steel for a nice new look.

Now it works great and looks good! Whew! See pics below

Thanks, now I have to install an Ignitor upgrade kit in an old Harman P61. Do you want to come over and help? LOL

Only if you want to replace more parts when I get done "helping". My father told me I was great at breaking things that are not broken. I told him it was a family trait. ==c
