I need to be your neighbor.
I go mow/bag the neighbors yard to get their leaves to make my compost in the fall.

Mix with some green grass clippings & the compost bin gets hot & shrinks 60% by Dec.

Good garden compost :)

Great job......

Nice.
I stacked some Cherry over the last couple days, a little over half a cord. I love burning that stuff, and grab it any chance I get. It's not the most common tree we have here but I've been getting enough that I always have some on hand.

Looks like that was a lot of hard work.

I use the mower to shoot all mine into the neighbors woods ;lol

Nice stack. Looks like those pallets might be on their last year, and I'm pretty sure those oak leaves came from my neighbors yard. Oak leaves that won't let go until February, WTF?

I too spent part of this week splitting and stacking during the 39 milliseconds of nice weather between winter and "God-awful black fly hell", also known as spring here. But it was pine and split fine at least. Got to thinking that the splitting to burning ratio was about 1:1 and then decided to head inside and consume an adult beverage or two "responsibly".
