Ha Smokin - she had gone to the barn to get something that night and it was the first time she saw the line-up - big frowny-face when she came back in........

lol - I missed that comment about your wife thinking you're nuts. Heck, my wife already KNOWS that I am nuts. 7 road bikes, Lord knows how many guns, 2 chainsaws with 2 more on the list, and other gear coming out my ears. Yep, she has just learned to live with me the way I am.

Looking forward to seeing the setup Smokin - building a woodshop? Cheers!

Ha! I need to introduce my wife to yours..........! She actually real good about things - mainly joking around - I'm lucky to have her! Cheers!

My father has finally decided to give up his saws after 82 years. I will be bringing in one at a time as I can. I have the double table saw set-up. Next is the triple. ;) He didn't believe in changing blades to get something done. He just got another saw to fit the blade.

Very nice Smokin - sound like you are going to have a real nice set-up - hope I'm just staring to give up my tools at 82! Cheers!

Me to. He's got lots of projects he wants done. (Small price to pay) I really think he just wants them in my hands and no one else in the family.

Those are two real good things!

NH...you get any trigger time on that thing yet?

Lukem.........no ;hm - I'm hoping to find some time tomorrow - it's eating me up! Cheers!

Great saw!! I run a 20" on my 036 and it eats!! I believe this is the older model of your saw(pre-epa) but I may get corrected as I am not a saw guru. All I know is this seems to be the perfect firewood saw and I have yet to find a tree it cannot handle. When I do I have unlimited access to a pair of 056 mags with 28 and 36" bars respectively so I think I am all set. I think :)

Sounds like you are definitely set Bob!! Thanks! Cheers!

Time to start selling off those without white handles.

Yep - sold the Echo yesterday, 039 and MS391 up for sale now, and might sell the Dolmar too - I'm giving a little thought toward a MS261 to compliment the MS362 as my two saw plan! Then, REALLY try no to keep the other saws I buy! Cheers!

I've only got two saws but my wife has only ever seen one at a time so she thinks I only have one. She can't tell the difference since they are both the same color. ::P

I bet you can't stick to a two saw plan :) A 261, 362 and maybe a 461?

I know it's not a muscle saw but that little 180C I bought has really impressed me. I was using it when I was processing my rounds to trim anything that was over 18" long. It went through 10 and 12" oak real nice on a chain that I had run at least 5 tanks of fuel on and it was still cutting nice. Using something like that is a lot easier then bringing out the 362. All in all I think they are a good combo.

I picked up a 018 last summer and really liked the lightness of the saw - just fine for the smaller stuff and I hear you on the benefits of a lighter saw. My Dolmar has been by go to saw for the smaller stuff for about 4 years and it has some zip and can handle some big stuff too - found myself not really pulling out the 018, so ended up selling her. I turn 40 this summer, so perhaps a 180 is in my future as the body starts to change . Cheers!

Brilliant! ;lol Now, when you start bringing home 1200 lb. machines without your wife noticing, you'll have mastered the plan.

My wife did not fully recognize my, umm... condition, until we had to move. When a rigging company backs two 56,000 GVW tandem-axle trucks and two very large forklifts into your driveway on "shop moving day", with a small army of men and equipment, a woman can really begin to wonder what she married.

Holy cow! I'd be incapable of fathering more kids if I did that!!! Cheers!

Between those two saws, if she cannot tell by bar length (insert something witty here).
