Been busy. ;)

Big truck loaded.JPG

Oak - sent this load up North to my cutting partners house.

Cherry - Need something that will season quick since everything I split this winter is Oak, Elm, and Hickory!

We've been managing to get at least 1 load from of my truck and 1 of his to both of our houses every weekend this month.

Get that iron and oak to work then get those Christmas lights down before Memorial day. :)

Nice load.
Some of those rounds look HEAVY !
Did you muscle them or have a ramp?

Big muscle, Ford 1920 with a loader. ;)

And yes, even the Cherry rounds were heavy. We even noodled a few to make them more manageable. That cherry was roughly 24" DBH. The oak was similar in size as well.

;lol I did take down some of them last weekend. Seems to be a struggle amongst time and weather. The roof was snow covered thru the end of March. When the weather broke, (and the snow finally melted off the roof) I didn't have time, and when I had time, either the wind was howling or it was pouring rain. Either condition eliminates the possibility of me getting on the roof. <>

No worries tho, most of my neighbors still have theirs up. :p

That's why I don't even bother to put anything up. Christmas comes and goes way too fast to mess around with decorating.

My parents used a similar approach. I decorate every damn christmas and I'm waiting for the folks at the SETI program to send me a thank you for my efforts to communicate with extraterrestrial societies. >>

If I had kids and what not maybe I would then, but it's just me and the dog. Pretty sure the dog don't give a crap what the inside or outside of the house looks like as long as it's warm and he has food!

By memorial Day it is closer to time to put them up again. Just leave 'em.

Nice load on the old GMC there. I like that you even made an effort to secure the load.
