I took care of the cherry by the splitter then ran up front to grab those rounds (still have a few rounds left) we had enough cherry to fill the very first rack, just one more rack left in the back.

I have most of the cherry & yellow birch that has been up for one year that will go in the back rack.

Wow that's a lot of firewood! Looks awesome
After I stack the back rack I'll want another 3 plus cord before winter, I take the topped off stuff that's still up. I would like to be ahead on our wood by seven years, we still have some nice cherry down that will give me a good start.

I heard you had a good year with the Maple Syrup, nice job.

Really sj? He hides the plumb bobs and levels before taking pics.
Thought you knew that.;)
zap, take the fam for a looksee of those stacks. Awesome, as usual.
The family gets a good chuckle when they stay, that famous question comes up, how much wood do U need!

At first it was just being ahead two years, it's got 2 the point I want to replace what we'll use this year, if I can hit that number by fall, I'll want another "TREE" cord! ==c

He did have a good year zap. He also graciously brought us some of this new syrup which is greatly appreciated.

I had to do a double take on that one picture. Thought I might be Poncho Gomez standing in the rain....

Yes indead it does zap. Another not so known use is for those who make popcorn the old fashion way is to put some in with the oil. Best tasting maple popcorn ever! :)

Never more than Sav. How did your winter go?

I have 42 days in this season, with a full time job. Looking for one more, Killington is still OPEN weekends.

I know that feeling Zap it really is almost an addiction but not too bad of a vise to have.

It looks like having that extra shoulder season wood will payoff the next three days, cool and windy so were burning some bigtooth aspen, started a fire last night an again this morning.

Once we get through this wind (should be done with it tomorrow afternoon) I'll get the last rack of cherry taken care of then split the beech we have.

We have two full size cherry down and a good size cherry limb down that will go in the racks for future heat, it's because of Sav we have a good inventory of wood, so keep on adding if you can.

You can never have enough wood.
