whats that on the rear wheel/hub of the john deere...ive never seen that before
Yep, they are ballast weights to compensate for when the front end loader is on. It also has a 450 lb weight box that hooks up to the 3-point hitch to help counter weight.
 
Might be time for a "C" channel upgrade on that main frame tube. Or, you could get a stick of heavy guage 2" square tube at your local metal shop and have it heated and bent to the contour you need.....
Yea I'm thinking of bolting a couple angle iron brackets in or maybe a 2x4. I'll have to look at it better and see. I'll post pics of what I come up with.

Methinks it's bent into a permanent DUMP TRAILER right now!!::P
It actually bent back pretty easy. A few jumps onto the hitch and you could barely tell, other than the flared crease where it buckled. Def can't hold any weight yet though
