I have to get my FireView off of my 6 inch high hearth pad I built and also get the Progress Hybrid back on... Going to lay a small section of plywood on my hearth for the wheels to roll on which will slide right under the overhang on the ramp to support the ears hanging over.. Kept things low and long so I figure getting everything on wheels should make the move easy for the wife and I.. Just going to lift and shim the fireview one side at a time until the dolly fits under , then strap her down.. Once outside I'll lift the stove with straps with my tractor and switch out the dolly for it original pallet, set it back down , strap it down and tractor to my truck.. Thank God for pallet forks... The Progress I will bring to the back of the house and set it on a dolly ,, strap it down and get it up on the hearth.. I'm figuring with the extra dolly height My 10 inch legs might go right on , then shim the stove under the legs and pull the dolly and the crate all out in one shot.. Play it by ear.. Hoping the hearth ramp will make the move easy... all 2X8 12 inch on center cross ties,, 3/4 plywood , 24 inches wide.. Figuring on it taking the Progress weight..

Sounds and looks like it should work nicely. I may try something like that if we move our Fireview sometime.

. Just want to avoid having 4 people involved.. I like taking my time and doing things for myself when I can... 59 so no spring chicken, but I can still lift half the stoves up to slid stuff under.. climbing all those trees years ago kept me young ! Actually just trying to work smart and build things to make the move easy and also not damage anything on the stove or hearth pad itself... Like working on an old car and not chipping or scratching the paint... I still take pride... guess that's something instilled into us old fellas! I have one more doorway with the same drop to the back door so the ramp will be moved and used again on the trip out and in... I'll take some pictures, good or bad 
Maybe it will help someone else out on here as well..

With those swivel casters all around on your dolly, I really think I'd seriously consider installing a couple of side rails on your ramp...just in case one of those stoves wants to get a bit off course on the way up or down. Wouldn't need much, maybe 1½" high, something like that. Rick
