Looks like most of the posters on the HVAC forum I used to drop in on sometimes a few years ago. What a war zone. And if a poor Harry Homeowner asked a DIY question he would be immediately folded, spindled and mutilated.

I dropped in on a HVAC thread once where a homeowner was asking about a thermostat for his pellet stove and it was akin to trashing the Curran on the Muslim boards, "How dare you come in here and ask a DIY question or try to use our controls for some other purpose!"....geez, guys give us a break...didn't mean to upset the rotation of your HVAC world.
