TUNA Catch!

Every summer we spend a week In San Diego visiting the inlaws.
I always try to make a day or two offshore fishing trip.
This year i did a two day trip for bluefin tuna. Awesome!
Two bluefin and three yellowtail.

Can't wait till next year.

Bfunk you lucky friggin devil, you.....that looks like a blast and also some great steaks to boot!
I'm hoping to hook up with Defiant sometime this summer for some fishing....I've dreamt of tuna fishing for decades now....seeing these pics kinda pushes me over the edge!!

This year was a bit of a test, spending two nights on the boat. Wasn't sure if i would like to be out that long.
The boat i took does 2-12 day trips. I did fine on the two and wanted more. Great boat , captain and crew. The food was outstanding and i took home about 40 lbs. of fillets. Dosen't get much better!

We did a little sushi last night, like butter.
Cant wait to grill some steaks!

You can't eat all that. Lemme help you out. Pack, say, 4 (or more) of those steaks up in some dry ice & overnight 'em to me. I'll even spring for the shipping. Just tryin' to help. Rick
