Looks like military pricing. Special forces probably have a bunch.

I doubt it will catch on with the recreational crowd. $40K is quite a bit more than the ATV/Ski/Trailer combo that was the "competition" in the video. Hell, you could buy a new ATV, New PWC with a trailer, and still have enough money to buy a decent used truck to haul 'em with.

Pretty cool but looks like a lot to go wrong on that thing. And for use as a quad I would be really worried about cracking that skid plate/hull.

Don't worry, you won't be tackling the tough trails with this one. It's not four-wheel drive. :(

Sweet!
Need a trailer to go along with it :)

The hull of that thing would have to be armor to use it off road around here....that thing would be busted up in one ride on the mountain!

Very cool concept though.....too bad the common man would never be able to afford one...

For forty grand (play money, of course) I'd be buying and/or building one of THESE instead.....

Doesn't take $40K to get a loooong ways with one of those. Of course they don't look as pretty when you start out.

Things can always get out of hand however....

If those were real 50's it would bring a whole new level of fun to felling trees though...

You could mow down trees at 1500 yards.
