Last September for some odd reason I took a screen shot of a post when I hit 20,000. BrotherBart had commented when I passed him on post count and that is probably why I took the screen shot.

So with this post, I now hit 25,000. Perhaps I need a vacation....

Ha! Your addicted, just try to give it up. You may need an intervention! You should give away all of your wood and burn oil.

 Oil? What's that?

We and the advertisers appreciate the business.

You are now upgraded from Member to Fixture.

Congratulations Dennis. I am sure a fair amount of those posts have helped people new to the forum. I certainly remember some of my first posts/questions: you answered them and helped me a bunch!

Congrats and hope to see another 25K!

Andrew

There is a lot of helpful insight in those posts....keep up the good work and I hope to be able to read the next 25K.

What do you get for that anyway? Bozo button? Autographed Supercedar? Gotta be something!

So far I've got 3 or 4 attaboys. ;lol

Both shoulders have frozen solid over the past 10 years. One for a year and a half. Still can't mouse with my right hand. I work standing at the computer a lot of time just to save my back. Computer intensive jobs are hard on the body.

Oh, that sounds nasty. If I had to work standing, nothing would get done. Standing, especially standing still is one of the very worst things I can do. One more reason for sitting while splitting. ;) Shoulders both hurt some and I've been advised for surgery but no go yet. Then this afternoon I took my wife to buy some of that bird seed she needs. Also bought a few bags of fertilizer. While loading the cart, something tore in my left arm, up by the shoulder. Hopefully that will be okay as it feels fine now but did not feel so good right after it was done.

I also talked to a friend today who moved near your area and has been there for not quite a year. She is an older lady and I used to keep her lawn mowed along with little jobs that needed done. We were sorry to see her go but she needed someone with so moved in with her son. She is absolutely loving it out there. Also said they are getting a bit dry right now. Who knows? Some day we may have to pay her and a few other folks in that area a visit. Time will tell.

25 thousand posts - holy smokes! Good job, Dennis. Anytime we get online and find the internet slowing down (bad 'lag'), we just assume: "Oh, Backwoods Savage is posting on Hearth-dot-com again". Maybe it's time to upgrade to a water-cooled keyboard and superspeed fiber into your house... No, really we look forward to your next 25,000. Congrats!

Holy cow Dennis ! Do you dream at night of typing on hearth.com ? Whats your post count in your dreams ? ==c

Yep. this is much better than telling people...... Today I got up and got dressed and took the dog for a walk, whew! How boring. and you don't learn anything. Not like the Hearth forums.

You're like the ever-ready bunny
