My Email
Hello
I am interested in the stove ,I have some questions

Is it an EPA certified stove ?

What is the BTU output , such as for 1000sq ft. 2000sq ft. etc.?

What is The Brand Name and Model number ?

Do you know the size of the fire box ? Example 2 cubic feet

How old is it ,or date of manufacture ?

Thanks

Hello,

The stove was in the walk out basement of our home that was built in 1990. We have used it a couple of times a year over the last few years. I have no evidence that it is certified nor do I know about its BTU output. The main box measures 26 inches from the floor with an additional bump up box of 2".

The buyer would have to take the stove from the walk out basement.

My second Email
Thanks for the reply
Can you look on the back and get a Model number ?

Thanks

For $200 that stove would be in my truck like yesterday. The less they know about it the better.

I'm not going tell em it's worth more but, What would be a fair price, and what did it sell for new ??

that looks like one of those stoves you see on craigslist that sold 10 minutes ago to the guy who got there first

their elusive, usually a great price and ya never seem to get them

Unless it's damaged, $200 is stealing that stove. Of course all we see is a picture, but judging by that it shows little use and no sign of overfiring. A fair price if in primo condition would be about $5-700 in peak season. This appears to be an R7 or R9? It is no longer made, so the original price is somewhat of a moot point.

Ok , Email 3

Hello Again

I would like to come look at the stove.

To set up a time , You can Email or call me at

Thanks again

IIRC this stove would be from the early 90's. It is EPA with a firebrick baffle, similar to the Lopis.

The difference between those two would be fire box size ;?
Not finding info on those box sizes or BTU output, that info should be on the back of stove right?
The stove I get ,has to heat 1300 sq ft , kinda drafty, chopped up floor plan

Pretty much any stove that size is going to heat a 1300 sq. foot place. That looks to be at least the size of an Englander 13-NC (depending on the depth) which is rated for a 1200-1800 sq. foot house. Older stoves are harder to find information on like you want. As others have said, if it is as good as it looks in the photos, just buy the dang thing. If you fret and quibble, someone else will get it. Any EPA certified stove here in Oregon is worth 2x of the other used stoves on CL and that stove at that price would be long gone here in a few hours.

Also figure on at least 500 pounds of weight, so it is going to be a PITA to get out of a basement.

That has to be a 3100. Has airwash and you can see the riser for the secondary air in the back of the firebox. That pup would already be in my trailer and halfway home.

I might plan a road trip for that! Regency is a fine stove!

Hmmm... Side loading ashpan. It may be an R model. Still well worth the dough.

Looks to be more like the predecssor to the F3100. Note the front air control. This has moved to the side on the F3100. Also, didn't they move the logo from the glass to the base on the F3100? I'm thinking R9, but we'll see when hdrock checks it out. It wouldn't be the first time I guessed wrong, nor the last. ;lol
