Its been one of the wettest seasons on record here. The daily high temps haven't been that bad besides for a week in july. But the humidity has been thick. Every rain we have had, has been the flash flooding type. 1-3" per storm in a short period of time.Kind of like what colorado got, minus the huge mountains and mudslides. Is this a foreshadowing of this years fall and winter? I believe it is. Everybody be safe...

We have been getting pounded here at work for 3 hours, kinda hard to tell from the pic, but there is big streams forming....

We are finally getting sprinkles. To date we have had about .1" of rain since the end of June. .06" today so far. Needless to say, things are tinder dry.

Wow, that is super dry for your area BG....
It's been super-wet here in central PA, but the last couple weeks its been hit-and-miss. This is the first August that our grass has stayed green in years. It's usually browned off by now from lack of water.

We went to the Ag Progress Days fair near State College, PA, today and the ride over is all rolling farmlands in a deep valley......I commented to my wife on the way over that it was amazing how high the corn was this year. I'm betting the corn is every bit of 8' high in our area this year, which is amazingly high......

We are normally dry for the summer, but the last 2 years have been exceptional. If this is the result of the Pacific Decadal Oscillation Cycle it could become common.
