A nearby friend experienced a small microburst on Sunday that took this tree down and about 8 rows of corn. No wind at all at my place.

All I see is firewood.==c
Will soon be seen on craigslist listed for $1,000 for premium seasoned firewood unless OP has some swing

It does amaze me when people always blame the weather for taking down a tree that was already rotten. For sure that thing was ready to go and the weather was just the last straw.

Great starter home for a hobbit.

I cut the top off the trunk as level as possible put a small roof on it . Next a toilet and a few rolls. Youd be the only guy with a camo potty ! ;)

I got my own whites to contend with Woody. Put up another 90 feet over the last few weeks. Got two more piles to clean up and then a small break. This weekend I will do the Tiger thang in the afternoon though. :)

White takes priority here, as well. I'm not working on it right now, but it is secure. >>
90'?? Good work! :cool: I'm just trying to clear the deck in my processing area to get ready for the next go-'round. I have stuff at a couple of peoples' houses that I need to pick up. Yep, various Red types. Then cut dead Ash for my in-laws for next year. Then finally start going after the good stuff to stack here; Whites, Shag, Dogwood, Persimmon, BL and HL. We live in firewood heaven, don't we? :)

Forgot to record the final round last week....<> Scott's finally hitting his stride. You know you're rollin' when they start falling into your lap, too. ::-)

Good work, Tim! So you're gonna give up playing with your wood to go out and play with your "wood" (putter and irons, too)?

Sounds like you earned the break! ;)

No Scotty, I will be sitting in my recliner living vicariously through Tiger Woods :)
Oh, OK......I thought you were "hittin' the links" ;) Either way, you've earned the break brother...maybe drive a few cold ones while you watch the tube.....the autumn brews are coming out on the market.
