I'm looking to buy the pellet stove listed above...the guy selling it has it listed for 700 and said that it has been used lightly.... is this a good buy?

Darn hard to say. Sales of used stoves vary by area. Ten years can be hard on a stove if not cleaned or stored properly.

Without pic's and a model number we are a bit in the dark. St Croix gets good reviews here, Older unit most likely with an analog controller(full manual and no stat option). Probably still able to locate parts for it without issues. They usually have the price raised a little for wiggle room.

Hello

Sometimes there is a problem with changing the speed of the room blower so make sure that works. Fire it up and test it before you buy.
