Hello All,
I had a good last season with FSU"s but I'm not seeing them here in RI this year. GT's, Nations Choice, PTL's, Infernals, etc. Anyone see FSU's in RI, Southern MA or Eastern CT? I figure the drive of an hour or so might be worth it for 2-3ton..... Thanks
RT

FSU is a hard pellet to find north of Boston. Most of the HD in the area have changed to GS. Lowe's started carrying Natures Own which is made buy the same company that makes FSU but this is more than a 110 mile trip one way for you.
I have heard good things about the PTL's. Have you tried them?

GS is pretty much all we can find here in central Ct at the box stores

GS has done a splendid job of marketing as they are loading all the HDs and Lowes in RI. Must have sold them on the cheap. Don't think we'll see much of anything else in the box stores. What is the TSS in Coventry RI carrying?

Hey RW, the Home Depot in Taunton had them about 3 weeks ago. I bought 3 tons from them.

Coventry TSC has all MWP (maybe some old Infernals mixed in the back of the pile)

Just cracked the second bag of the season, MWP from TSC bought back in March. Fine shoulder pellet.

Thanks for the heads up on Taunton, I was able to grab a ton last week that will hold me for a while. I have my name on a will call list for 2 tons more but I'll have to take the dump trailer for that. Yes, its about an hour but that beats the GTs that the local boxes are pushing.

I bought my FSU from Home Depot in Auburn, MA a month ago and that is the only brand they had in stock. I was there two days ago and it looks like they still had some, but they also had Stove Chow. I'm pretty sure the HD in Oxford, MA also had FSU. I can tell you the Lowes in North Smithfield does not have any.
