Received this from my cousin last night. I guess my plans for saturday have been put on hold and im collecting a sheet load of free gum!

I'm behind with my splitting i have ~ 4 cord to split :( i was waiting to buy a splitter - hopefully next week. I hate seeing a 'mountain' of rounds that need splitting.

You think he'd at least help split it . LOL :)
 
I hope your Gum splits easier than the Sweetgum we have here, which has interlocking grain is an SOB to split. 'Split' isn't really the right word; It more tears and shreds. <>
 
ok...so i did two runs today for the wood....we have had pretty wet weather all weekend so i am going to get the rest during the week if the rain holds up...very happy...this stuff will spilt nicely and burns great

first load i did...

they are big rounds.....photos dont do them justice!!...its going to be a 5 beer job to split all these!

heres the car with the second load....the mitsubishi tritons a tuff little 4x4 but i wouldnt want to load up much more wood than this....it handled like chit driving back home with this load..low rider suspension working over time .haha

nah, havnt split any yet....i broke my splitter and am waiting to invest in a fiskars....will need to buy one soon because I received a text last night saying my cousin had chopped 5 more trees down and to come and get more wood...:)
