I was able to get the day off yesterday and my installer had in all done in 3 hours.. fired THE BEAST up last night and WOW!!!!! does this thing crank out heat..

only thing that kinda sucks is I had to use 2 spinning elbows to get around a joist does that create a problem?
I didn't let it burn all night because I am unaware how the stove reacts ,, we had THE BEAST going about 7 hours and put him down for the night,,

woke up to a chilly 11 degrees this morning( outside lol) 330 am,, brrrrrrrrrrrrrr cranked the beast up and burning like a champ..

OH ya we get smoke some in the beginning lol.. new paint and gaskets I assume.... nothing between the joints..
couple questions,, stove pipe is suppose to be 18 from wall ,Im 20 and the wall seems warm..

have a gage on stove pipe and was steady at 325 and wow was that hot.. LOVE IT and its a wood eater thank you again f2.jpg f2.jpg f1.jpg will add to front of hearth this weekend and just added the shield free standing for tonight,,,,,

Looks great.....nice having real heat eh?

congrats on your install. I see you have given your stove a name already, "The Beast". The numbers sound ok on the clearances of your stovepipe. Are you running single or double walled?

ya real heat is awesome!!!! it is single wall to chimney... noticed last night the wall was just warm to the touch.. the first night we had 30 winds,,,but last night the fan motor started squaling changed it out but must have flubbed the fan taking it off (small rattle sound) ..ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh life is good

Be careful letting it get too hot. You will burn out the motor. I keep mine below 400 on the door. Realize mine is an insert.

im between 300 and 400 on the black singlewall stove pipe.. THE BEAST sat for 10 years collecting dust so I kinda knew something would give...But all is well burning now like a champ.....mines freestanding.... thanx for the info
