I purchased my Labonville full wrap 6-ply chaps directly from their website a few years ago. They do look more red than blaze orange.

I got the green ones. Real friendly people, I recall they called me after I entered my internet order. As I spoke to them I got the impression they custom make each order. Wish I took the time to use them more.

They make them just down the road from me. The proper length is sometimes an issue and they usually want to confirm if the customer is buying the right length as they tend to be sized for shorter people. Unfortunately for me they don't have a factory outlet but they do have occasional 20% off sales. They have a few stores in the region mostly located new papermills. A great place to buy good winter gear but unfortunately a lot of folks would rather by Walmart junk.

They make insulated winter work pants out of codura nylon the same stuff they use on the chaps (but in black), they are darn close to indestructible in normal use and even pro loggers get a great life out of them.

Mine are red - not even remotely orange...

I just received mine and they're clearly red- not orange.

Just wondering if this is standard, or maybe mine are knockoffs?
Yep, mine are red. Not close to orange. Had them 4+ years now. Won't start the saw until they are on.
Very warm when you wear them. Not fun in the summer, a bonus in the cooler months.

My "Extreme Competition" chaps are also more REDish. (not orange like hunting gear).

I am fond of mine. Wish I had got a little longer length though.

They are hot in Summer, (but not unbearable). Great in Fall and early Winter.

Good piece of mind too!!
