Went ahead and bought 100 gals of oil last week at $3.45/gal, still had 1/8 tank. Last time I bought was last April. I'm hoping this will last until next April.

Trying to remember your previous posts. You list four stoves in your signature. What all are you using for heat besides the oil?

I use the 2 inserts whenever I'm home from work, I don't burn 24/7. I'll use the Jotul in the patio rarely for winter sunbathing and night dinners on the patio. US stove is in the basement, use it when its really cold when I'm puttering down there.

patio abuts the deck and is enclosed by sliders with 3 skylights. there is a slider to the family room/kitchen.
