Kind of a non issue because of price ( local Ace hardware store wants $6.99 a bag for these). But that is one pellet I have never tried, are they any good ? I might get a bag or two just to fire them off and see, but I'm getting TSC that are burning quite decent for $4.79 a bag or $229 ($4.58 a bag by the ton) a ton.

I burned 3 tons of them 2 years ago. Paid $199 ton at that time. Middle of the road pellet...nothing special.

I thought I might just burn a bag or two for future reference but if they are just mid road, no need. I'll stick with these TSC pellets they are doing fine for me. Thanks guys !

So what is the brand your getting from Tractor Supply?

Not for that price. I loaded up with several tons of them during the fire sales - decent heat and a medium amount of ash. Much better than some others I've burned (ThermaGlo's come to mind), but again, not worth as much as they are asking.

Well Tony, the guy said that TSC is supplied ( their brand) by 5 distributors and this one is new and would not package their pellets in TSC red lettered bags as usual. So these are dark blue print on a white bag. They are hard wood blends, lower side of medium ash has been my experience with them thus far. Less ash than Energex, so they aren't those. The ash stain on the door isn't as dark as FSU so they aren't those. Decent heat. Best I can tell ya, I haven't run the bar code , haven't even photoed it. For the money invested I'm pretty pleased.

Both sides. Depends how often I clean, it just wipes off anyway. I've been in a low burn for a couple of days so it's building up now. Actually on my stove looking at it face on, the left side builds faster than the right.

Interesting..... I only get it on 1 side... the right...
still like to know why... won't swear on it but seems to be only when doing Room/auto..

I get it no matter what mode but low burns will build faster. crappy pellets will build faster yet. really good pellets slow. I cleaned this glass last weekend, it well needs it now for sure. It's just a wipe down with a dry paper towel generally. I use a little glass cleaner when I really clean the stove.

Red lettered TSC bags are a thing of the past. White bag with blue letters is the new norm.....scan the bar code and you'll find out what you have.

At the moment I don't really care what I have, it's Tony who was wondering.

Inferno's were always known as the Worst pellet ever sold, they were basically using old pallet's and grinding them into sawdust, has been well talked about here over the year's, pieces of pallet in bag's, strange colored pellets due to ink stamped on pallets, but there's fool's born every minute

.....excuse me for replying then.
No, No, my apologies, I didn't mean it to sound that way ! I mentioned earlier that I had not scanned them is all. Tony was wondering what brand they are. I'm happy with how they burn. I didn't mean for that to come off snippy.

In my area those TSC blue letter bags are MWP's and burn really nicely.

I suspect they are the same here. But the guy at the store mentioned they were from a different supplier, maybe he doesn't really know.

I met a guy at TSC ( customer) who said they burned nice in hid stove as well and that his stove won't burn FSU worth beans. Sometimes I forget that not everyone can burn every kind of pellet . I do find that these TSC are a little cleaner than the FSU, which are not the worst pellet in the world. Some stoves I guess are really fussy.

A new company was making the Inferno's from what I understand.I believe they are Corinth softwood.Old Inferno plant burned to the ground.I tried a few bags and they were OK. Not great, but middle of the road.

That rings some kind of bell with me now that you mention it. Well at $6.99 a bag it doesn't matter much anyway.
