I hear you, i guess I should have done a little more homework but the machine said up to 25hours a burn, i trusted it and did my math accordingly, thinking I could set it at its lowest setting at night to save on costs. You live and learn I guess.

It is good you are doing the research,many do not and end up dissatisfied.

Check the bottom 3 numbers (buttons below heat and blower buttons)

Also check what mode your stove is in. Should be set to D mode.

A quick search on this site for englander 25pdvc will provide tons of information.

I have the same stove and use a bag about every 22 hours on medium heat settings.

Man is i can get that il be one happy duckling. I have the three options under blower speed and heat range setting that I cant figure out what they do. Couldnt find it in the manual and my adhd is making it even harder haha.

Woops posted in wrong forum,sorry,but the bottom adjustments are important,as was pointed out,there are some form posts here as to how to adjust.

Checking / setting the Heat Mode
Heat Mode, the default setting is 'd' for the 25-PDVC, and for the 25-PDV it is 'c', but some control boards default to 'A' when a reset is done. Do not run the stove in 'A' or 'b' mode.
Unplug the stove from the mains.
Plug power lead back in and press both the up and down blower speed buttons at the same time within 4 - 5 seconds and then release the buttons, you should now see a letter (A, b, c or d) in the left or right digital display under heat range or blower setting, you need to change this to 'd' or 'c' using the up / down buttons below that readout, or in case of the 25-PDV you need to use both buttons up or down, once set to 'd' or 'c' wait 10 - 15 seconds then unplug the power again and wait 5 seconds. (Sometimes the mode that you want does not set and defaults back to the mode that it was in before, repeat this step to make sure the mode that you want is set.)

The 3 lower buttons factory settings for the 25-PDVC should be
LFF = 6
LBA = 4
AOT = 1

Note: The 25-PDVC can be run in mode 'c'. Never run the 25-PDVC in 'A' or 'b' mode.

Good catch.He can always search "england bottom settings" or stove model number bottom settings,lots here about that.

How do I see those adjustments? Pressing those bottom three buttons to adjust those numbers didnt do anything if I remember correctly. Wish this was in the manual

I was noping i could edit that part out before someone caught it lolol, ssyko youre too dang quick for me tho lol. Ok everything is set and the three bottom numbers were all set to 9 except lower feed which was 7..... seems high compared to the numbers givin. Shes powering back on now, il post results tomorrow. Thanks for the help

Ok just an update, it was 32 out and my back rooms were 63 and my living room was 70 with the 5-9 setting.Kept it at 3-9 for 12 hours and 7 hours on 5-9. Got 19 hours this time. The impingement plate still was incorrectly positioned so I just got that squared away. Im using “green supreme” pellets and after some research everyone is saying there shyt. That would account some for the low heat ive been getting. Il be getting in touch with my local pellet stove store to see what they stock after the holiday.. happy turkey day everyone. Updates to come

Green Supremes can heat the house but it will take more pellets to do it and build more ash as a result. They work in a pinch and they work in shoulder season. They suck when the weather actually turns cold.

well i wanna set one of my skeletons free, when i put my wall thimble in from inside to the outer brick wall there was about a inch or two gap, will this be a prob?

If it was me for piece of mind I would extend it to meet the brick tightly or overlap the other half of the thimble. Code wise there should be no gaps inside the wall. Sorry it may not be what you want to hear but it’s better to be safe then burn your house down

No 7” vent in town to match the thimble, i slaughtered the other side of thimble with tin snips so i could t use that even if I wanted to.. its gonna be a pain in the rear doin this i can already feel it

I had the same issue when I did mine . It’s simple, just get a piece of sheet metal and make your own by wrapping around the thimble and sheet metal screws or find a larger piece of gauge duct and do the same. Your just making a heat shield.
