I have found on here the tech page on the testing the 6041. I see where it looks like I am able to configure the room fan speeds based on the heat settings. My issue right now is that the fan blows so much air that it makes the room feel colder where we sit on the couch. My hope is to turn the fan down so that it does not blow so much air and therefore will heat the room without a huge blowing fan blowing so much air. I understand that I do not want to turn it down so much that the stove runs so hot because there is no air moving through the heat exchangers but I believe that I could turn it down quite a bit and still be good. Has anyone else done this? Is this how I would go about doing this? Right now I can not turn the fan down at all. Even running on heat setting of 2 it is blowing tons of air, which is cold because the flame is small putting off little heat. I know in auto mode it is supposed to adjust the room fan with the heat setting. It looks like settings c-6 and c-7 are for the room fan. It looks like the default settings are: heat setting 1 room fan would be at 50% or 250/500 and heat setting 9 room fan would be at 74% or 370/500. I did buy the stove used so possibly the previous owner had turned these values up because it sure seems that it is putting out more air than 50%. If it is indeed 50% then wow this thing sure can blow some air!

Have you checked the values of the room fan? Push the RF UP button and the AUX UP button at the same time you should see the upper value. Do the opposite with the down buttons and that will show the low values.
You can either change those values as you see fit or reset the board to the factory defaults and start from scratch.
BUT! Before resetting to the factory defaults you should go through the feed rates (HR) C&P and write down what they are, also the DF settings high and low, write those down. ETA: Also the auger rate, sorry I have mine turned off and always forget that one. That way if the factory defaults are way different than what you have you will have an idea as to were to reset those values. That is, if you think the stove is otherwise running/burning good at those settings and are just trying to get the RF to blow lower.

I have not checked but I plan on doing so when I get home. Will it display the values in xx/500 when pressing the RF up and aux up and then again down? I just found the tech manual with all the different settings for each part.

Yes, IF, your board will allow the RF values to be changed. The 6041 has been manufactured with a few different boards. All are pretty much the same, but there are differences. All you can do is see if the values show up and then try and change them.
You will probably need to try a couple of times pushing of both buttons at the same time to show the values. They are touchy and if you don't hit them just right together it doesn't show up. If you are not sure try it with the DF and AUX, those for sure will show up. It will let you get a feel if the RF values can be changed.
If you do change ANY values (RF, DF, AUX, HR) you will need to push the ON button after changing them for the change to be saved or they will revert back to the setting you saw on the board to begin with.
Again, please before changing anything or resetting to the factory defaults, go through each setting and write them down!
Do you know if the stove must cool for the new values to take effect after adjusting? I was able to turn the RF down but now I want it a little higher so I went and adjusted it back up but it seems to not have any affect. The only difference I can think of that they worked when I first adjusted it lower than the default is that the stove was cool.

Doesn't matter if the stove is hot or cold, as long as you push the "ON" button after making changes the changes will take. If you don't push it the setting revert back to what was showing.
