I have an Enviro Empress that lights and burns fine. After about 30-45 minutes the fire starts to die out. The auger drops pellets, but not enough to keep the fire burning.

Doesn't seem to be a clog in the auger because it runs fine to keep the fire on high for the first half hour.

I have cleaned the front of the firepit, behind the front panels, and the exhaust pipe.

Please help, and thank you for your time.

If the stove comes on and runs normally for a while- what happens? Does it slowly die in flame and eventually get snuffed out? Is the air damper adjusted properly? Is the auger motor getting tired and starts slowing down after its been on a while? It must be an adjustment or something is failing. Is this stove on a thermostat or is being ran in manual mode? Let us know...

Yes, it dies because there is not enough fuel falling into the fire.

Is the air damper adjusted properly?
Yes, I've been using the stove for 4 years, it was in the house when i bought it, and i havn't had a problem until now.

Is the auger motor getting tired and starts slowing down after its been on a while?
That's exactly what seems to be happening.

Is this stove on a thermostat or is being ran in manual mode?
manual mode.

Thank you for your time.

Just got on to thank you all for your help. I took the panel off and watched the motor from the start. After it ran for a while, it looked like it was trying to run, but did not turn. So I just ordered a replacement motor and put it in today. It's been running like a champ for a couple hours straight.

Thanks again.
