Bought a house with a Harman PF100 Pellet furnace that heats my garage and the house. Just loaded up on probably the last ton of pellets for the winter/spring. Cleaned out my stove ran it for a few days, but now I am having issues with the auger. At first I was getting a 2 blink status light which narrowed it down to the vacuum switch. I jumpered those and cleared the blink. Now my auger doesn't seem to want to feed correctly. Thought maybe the motor went bad but, if I mess with the transformer / auger and put the right amount of pressure it seems to work again and start feeding. It is almost like the auger motor is binding up. Anyone have this before? The previous owner looks to have the transformer part "zip tied" up to take some of the natural gravity pressure off the auger.. Before I go buy new parts i am trying to figure this out, and want to do this quick. I need heat in my garage again!

remove the wing nut on the circuit board side of the feeder right in front of the auger motor. It is a clean out for the feeder. If it is packed it will bind up auger do to not being able to move the slide plate. Does the arm that the auger moves up and down move freely? It should move with 1 finger.

Have not ran the furnance. Dug Into it a little more Tuesday night and found my GEARBOX bearings were shot. So ordered a new gearbox, I have a hunch that the Auger may have warped from heat causing the bearings to go bad.

I have never seen a Harman auger warp. Do you check your fines clean out on the side of the feeder?
