Hi there everyone, I am having a new woodstove given to me, and all I have to go by is pictures of it. It's coming from Ontario, and I have looked and looked, but cannot find out what type it is. The sticker on the back just says Unerwriters Labortories of Canada. Can anyone help, so i can research the stove.

In that area Haugh's were popular. Can you post a clear picture of the whole UL label?

I don't recognize it, but I'd guess it is from the 1970s. There may not be a lot of documentation available.

Agreed. It's not legal for a new install in our state. What stove is currently installed and why the change?

I have been mowing a neighbors lawn for them, as they live away. And the deal was they we're going to give me a nice woodstove. I was expecting a high efficency unit... I currently have a cfm with the steel baffle in the top. Nothing special but it does heat my 3 bedroom bungalow from the basement.
