Spent some time the last couple of days cutting up and splitting some pine logs. Here's one of 8. The little Speeco 12 ton, about 25 years old but with a replacement engine a couple of years ago, handled the job with easy.

You need to get that thing vertical.

I have a 12 ton that only splits vertical, I'd rather it only horizontal.

It would take some reconfiguring; but it can be done. Your cylinder would need reversed and flipped to the top and your ibeam would need hinged. The only hiccup would be your ability to weld and the orientation of your motor. Horizontal or vertical. You have all of the makings to take your splitter and make it a vertical splitter. Also, if your hydraulic fluid tank is also your axle for the wheels, that could present an issue for the ibeam adjustments.

It’s inpressive you got that round up there!!
