Theres a tag on the blower that says Malm fireplaces but thats the only writing on the whole thing. I tried contacting malm to get some more info but they never replied.

Did this work?

Doesn't look like any Malm I have seen. The stove sure looks like it has been run hot though.

Bump, does anyone have any ideas? Its got an integrated heat shield and blower that really helps move the heat around. Its done a great job keeping my 1800sq ft. House warm so far not even burning 24/7 in Michigan. The neighbors tell me the old owner used to get all his wood as mill scraps from an Amish community in the town over so I can understand how it was run so hot.

I like the iron heating on the stove! Do you use it or is that just decoration?

I'm thinking I ought to get an old iron at a thrift shop, remove the cord and try leaving it on my stove.
Its just decoration. The top doesnt get warm really, its a false top and the blower blows between it and the real top
