In the spring we got a old 1830s home that we did a full gut on and rebuilt with a wood stove as main heat in mind 4in spry foam insulated and open floor plan 2 story 2,200sq feet home and this thing heats us out of the home love it is a bag a day normal we are on setting 2 I live up in the NORTH East

Exhaust vent requirements should be in the manual for the stove.
 
Surge protector is where
Needs a surge protector on that stove (IMPORTANT)
 
I would unless you have a whole house surge protection
and a good one
