I am in Southern Ontario. I have used Spruce Pointe in my pellet stove and I absolutely love them. More so... my pellet stove loves them. VERY CLEAN burn and not a lot of ash. I got them at my local TSC stores, but they all off a sudden stopped carrying them. So I have had to look else where for my pellets.

My stove really like softwood pellets. I have tried hardwood, but in my stove for some reason the hardwood pellets create A LOT of creosote. Have tried many different brands... same result. That is why I am sticking with softwood pellets. It seems to work for me quite well.

hi Folks, has anyone in the Halifax area burned pellets made by spruce points out of Alberta if so how were they/
I have used them.
I think they are very good.
If you get them at a good price, they are a sleeper, for sure!!
