Can anyone help me with how to correctly install a honey well manuel thermostat to the Enviro Maxx-1. I do not know what the dial on the inside of the thermostat needs to be set at....1.5 2? We upgraded from a Quadra fire 1200 and have had nothing but issues with the 1200 and the thermostat. I want to make sure I'm connecting and setting it correctly to the Maxx-1.

the manual should tell you exactly how to hook the thermostat to the stove. the thermostat manual should tell you how it it hooked up and how to set. Honeywell makes dozens of tstats. which one did you get?

Manual doesn't say what the setting needs to be neither does the thermostat. Not sure what kind of honey well thermostat it is. Threw the box away a couple years ago after I hooked it up to the old pellet stove. I just don't want to hook it up an screw up my Maxx, we just got it. Or is it just better to run the stove in Manuel mode?
Thank you for your help.

After you get the thermostat hooked up put the mode setting on manual and start the stove. After the mode light goes solid set your heat level on one and switch the mode to hi/low. When you turn the thermostat up and it calls for heat your stove will burn on high setting until the thermostat is satisfied. At that time it will go down to setting one until heat is called for again.

I’m not a big advocate of thermostats. I just set the temperature on what setting I will need for the temperature of the day. That stove you have is a heating machine.

Thank you again for your help. Oh man does it heat! I'll decide later if I want to hook up the thermostat. I'm going to keep researching on the Maxx and thermostat's pros' and con's.

We sell these. They heat. The blower is a little noisy on high.

We just installed it 3 days ago.
Question, I turned it on low made sure the dampener is correct, and it started shutting down after running for 35 minutes. I looked at the panel and the mode light is flashing and the 3rd light on the heat indicater is also flashing. Not sure why. Is this normal? I've not touched anything other than to turn it on. I did not hook up the thermostat to it.
So many questions!

Is the stove new or used?

Brand new. It's going to be a learning process, that I understand. I just wish there were some videos on how to correctly run this stove, step by step. It's almost like I cant get the dampener set correctly. I've ran wood stoves before but this takes the cake!

Did you get everything set up?

So sorry, it took me a day to get back to you. So far after my fiasco of the low setting issue, my husband was able to figure out it was the trim feed. He showed me how to work that. Everything seems to be working great now! And yes this stove will heat you out of the house. Still have not hooked the thermostat to the stove. I'm going to try and hold off on that as long as I can. I want to do some research on what thermostat works the best with the stove. And what setting best works for the stove and my home.
Thank you again for your help.
