I set the boiler timer at 6:30 yesterday evening. It's 92 degrees warmer in my house than it is outside at 8:30 this morning Life is good!

Had the house up to 74 degrees when I when to bed at 2am, outside temp -1. Woke up at 8am, go downstairs and find a note where my stove should of been. The note read “Fu#& this, headed to Florida”.

No joke, the FC1500 could not keep up and the house was 67 degrees with the oil furnace keeping it a float at 67.

Your comparing apples to oranges. I have a programmable thermostat that sets back to 70 at night then bumps up at 5:00am. I've been heating off 1000 gallons of storage since 10:00pm last night when the timer turner off the boiler.

I’m lighting smaller fires when the temp in my boiler drops down to 150* and bringing it back up to 190*.
The frickin wind here is kicking the snot out of the temp in the house.

We got down to -21F actual temp and -45F wind chills. With my hotblast 1400, i had it turned down as low as it would go and it still stayed right about 74-78F in the house. Like usual though, i had to reload it every 3-4 hours or so. I saw that the fireplace/stove forum has a post inquiring how everybodies stoves performed with the arctic blast, but there wasn't one here, so this is the closest so far!
