Does this exist? Looking to replace the old Regency in the family room. Want to wake up to a preheated room.

Yes, many pellet stoves support hooking up an external thermostat. Our Quadrafire CB1200 was hooked up to an inexpensive digital thermostat that started warming up the house at 6:30am. It was one of my favorite features. Check the Pellet Forum here for best models to suit your need.

Moved thread to pellet forum.

Harman Touch control video

A basic Lux digital thermostat will provide this functionality too. I liked this option for our insert because it allowed me to put the thermostat in the hallway outside of the stove room. That was better for more even house heating. Built-in proprietary electronics can get expensive to repair.

I got Harmon XXV (Non TC Model). Motherboard are 1/3 the cost on old unit. I just set my temp and forget it. On Auto it will turn off anyways if too hot. My Torn RC and Shoulder muscle thanked me this past Winter. Went from BK King (Wood) to Harmon XXV. So much easier than wood. Only downside is I had 10 cords of Wood, Bucked up. Split Up, Dried and Stacked ready in bay of building and behind it. Wife's Niece got a deal (free). Got another cord bucked up ready for them to come get it. Tree's never quit getting damaged (sheered off) in my forest.

The OP wants an auto-start feature so that they can wake up to a warmed-up room. Can an external thermostat be connected to the XXV?

Watched the whole video wish my Ravalli had such a nice interhface
As a prior Ravelli owner yes the Harman controller is a dream to use compared to the Ravelli controller.

Sure. But the TC has that already built in. You can get wireless for it. Auto will cycle it when needed. All the Bells and Whistles. But they make terrible coffee. Put the pot on it and it never get beyond warmish.
