This is just a friendly reminder that the time to clean you pellet appliance and venting out for the year is ASAP when you finish burning, or you will likely be looking at this kind of mess when you go to clean it in the fall. Ash draws moisture and unless you block off your pipe and use some moisture control, your firebox can be a rusty, gooey mess after sitting dirty all summer.

Yes I agree.
My favorite summer problem is what we call
“Summer Choke Down” :)
That is when the humidity and moisture gets in to all the ash stuck to the walls of the venting and gets so heavy it falls down to choke up the exhaust blower so no exhaust will blow out. This of course will trip the vacuum switch and the stove will not start because the auger will not turn since the vacuum switch CutOff the power and you get the 2 blink status or level 2 light will blink.
If the stove and venting were clean then this would not happen. :)
