I was hoping someone could help me. My pellet stove will not feed pellets. We moved it to replace the hearth it was sitting on last year. I have replaced the vacuum switch, auger motor, two of the snap disks. It will start up with the fan, the light turns on but it will not feed pellets. I took a dryer vent brush to the pipe in the chimney and vacuumed it out and have cleaned every part I can. Does anyone have any suggestions before I pay for someone to come out and look at it? I have also checked the control box and the blue light does come on.

Tried it, still didn’t feed anything. But on that note, if the control box was not working, it wouldn’t blink blue, correct?
Possible. Try unplugging stove. Pull control box and reseat it. Plug stove back in and see what happens. Sometimes juggling a stove around, you can jiggle the control box loose a bit and cause this issue. If this doesn't work. do you know someone with a Quad stove you can try your box in to make sure it is bad? Or a local dealer that can test it or try in a stove? And also try jumping #2 snap disc wires to make sure that isn't the issue also. Let us know. kap
I don’t know anyone and they want to charge me $150 to come check it out. I replaced the #2 snap disk and #3. I ordered the #1 snap disk and it will be here this week. I have pulled out the control box and put it back in making sure it’s all the way down. Is there any way for me to check the co trip box on my own?
Only thing #1 snap disc runs is the convection fan. #2 shuts feed down in an overheat, and #3 shuts whole stove down in a backfire. They won't even test it in one of their stoves at their store? If time was of no issue, you could send it to me and I could test it in my stove. kap
The only place I can find Within 50 miles doesn’t have stoves in their shop. They don’t even keep parts on hand. I’ll check again. Or maybe I can find someone I know that has one I can test it in.
It is a three speed control box. Works on all the older Quad stoves, except the Mt. Vernon. Doesn't work on the AE, or other newer style stoves. kap. Just have to set it to number for that stove, on the dial. And once again, always remember to unplug stove before installing or removing a control box, or you run the risk of toasting it. kap
If while we were testing the auger motor and it sparked and blew the fuse you think the chances of it being the control box are pretty high?
Ok I just went ahead and bought a new control box. Now it will burn pellets I put in the fire box but it still isn’t feeding pellets. I honestly don’t know what else I can do! Do you have any other suggestions? I really do appreciate your help.

when you plug it in did the blue light flash 5 times? the little dial in the control box set to #1?
If you are sure on all the other tests you did, check the firepot thermocouple. Make sure the cover is clear of ash and that there are no wires broke. You can do a continuity test on it to make sure it is good. Also when you install it back in cover, make sure it is touching the inside end of the cover, or it won't read correctly. Can you hear if the auger motor is running at all? And if so, is it reversing? Firepot tc, auger motor, #2 snap disc, vac switch, control box, are the only things that affect the feed. May be time to get a current tester and trace where power is, and where power isn't. And remember the initial feed time when testing. kap
Is it five flashes right away? It flashed and then a few seconds later it flashed again. And yes it is set to #1

Sorry Kymm if it is set to 1 it is the correct setting and will flash 1 time. jump your vacuum switch again and see if it runs. don't drop the wire again
Ok we checked the wires. It looks like The black wire that connects to the auger motor doesn’t have any juice running through it. I’m going to see if I can run a new one and see if that fixes it.
