On Monday I woke up and loaded the stove. Just got it burning good and shut all the way down and I lost power. Without the blowers working the temp of the stove easily goes above the warning on my Inferno thermometer, around 700. It wasnt there long before I had the generator started and blowers back on. My question is can these stoves run without the blowers or do you risk damage and over-firing?

I ran the Pacific (your stoves smaller cousin) with out the fan from February to the end of the season last year.

No problems. It cruises @700F measured over the top right of the door on the box front face.

Yes it can be run without the blower. You may need to close down the air a bit sooner to compensate.

If set up properly yes. If you need the blowers to keep it under control you need to get your draft in check

I have the thermometer in the corner above the door. Cruising around 700 is ok?

Yes.

And don't freak if it goes a tad higher, like I did 9 years ago !!!

We survived :)

I would guess that a stove company would go out of business if their product destroyed itself or burned the house down when the power goes out.
